General Description
The Internal Auditor audits OPIS patient charts and charges for accuray. Spot-audits, on a random basis on any St. Mary;s Hospital patient charts and charges. The incumbent will also perform third party audits, and hosts on site auditors.
Required:
-Associates Degree required, BS Degree preferred
-Fluent in Medical terminology, demonstrated communicative skills, both written, and verbal.
-Experienced/proficient in P.C. usage, primarily Excel, and Microsoft Word.
-Knowledge of patient billing a plus
-Must have a basic understanding of Patient Accounting, financial transactions, medical patient charts, and a basic clinical knowledge
-Previous auditing experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
